Grounds and Maintenance Operative

This full-time role is to assist in the general maintenance of the Council's property, sports fields, open spaces, amenity land and equipment.

Applicants must have an extensive knowledge and experience of maintaining sports grounds and amenity spaces.  A good general level of education.  Level 2 Diploma in 'Work-based Horticulture' (Sports Turf Groundsman) or equivalent.

The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the requirements of health & safety legislation, the ability to work in a team member or on own initiative and to work under pressure to meet agreed deadlines.

Able to drive with current clean driving licence.

Salary: £18,070 - £20,661(1st April 2017)

plus Local Government Pension option and free employee car parking.
