Coronavirus HELPLINE - 0333 370 4000

A new helpline is now available to provide information and advice, as well as practical support to frail or vulnerable Hampshire residents.

The Coronavirus Hampshire Helpline - Hantshelp4vulnerable - is 0333 370 4000.

The helpline is available seven days a week 9am - 5pm and is for frail or vulnerable people who do not have support from families, friends or their local community, and who need urgent assistance with practical issues, essential food or household supplies, collection of medication, or who are at risk of loneliness.

This system is working in conjunction with the New Forest District Council and Lymington & Pennington Town Council for residents in our area.

Accessing Support

If you know someone who is 'extremely vulnerable', their support needs must be registered via the national Government website -

If you are vulnerable and have an urgent need that cannot be met through existing local support networks, contact Hampshire County Council's Adult Social Care Service on 0300 555 1386.  This should only be used if you are without food or need urgent assistance.

Community Support

A network of community hubs is being set up across the UK to assist with the delivery of food supplies to the 1.5 million people with serious medical conditions told to stay indoors for 12 weeks because of Coronavirus.

The Town Council is working closely with the New Forest District Council (Hampshire County Council being the lead), and the community and voluntary sector across our area to ensure that we can assist those who need it most during the coming weeks.

Meals & Groceries: home deliveries in the New Forest area has compiled a fantastically helpful list of local businesses that can deliver meals and groceries to your door. Please view this information via this link
