The Town Council owns several sports facilities throughout Lymington and Pennington. These include sports pavilions allowing for a great deal of sport activities to take place.

Bowls

Lymington Bowling Club is a friendly outdoor bowls club located at Lymington Sports Ground, the access is via Avenue Road, where ample free parking is provided. The green is open from the middle of April to the end of September. There is a bowls pavilion onsite with kitchen facilities.

Cricket

The Town is well served with three cricket grounds located at Lymington Sports Ground, Woodside Park and Pennington Recreation Ground.

The cricket pitches at Woodside Park and Pennington Recreation Ground are available for hire for occasional matches throughout the season, including the use of the Pavilion.

Croquet

A croquet green is provided by the Council at Woodside Park. Lymington Croquet Club usually play from late April until late September / early October and can be contacted via their website www.lymingtoncroquet.weebly.com


Football

Facilities are provided by the Council for Lymington Town Football Club to play at Lymington Sports Ground, off Southampton Road.  The Council also maintains pitches for hire at Pennington Recreation Ground and Woodside Park

Lymington Town Football Club has the full range of an England accredited community football club across all ages and standards. We are an England Accredited standard FC.

Pétanque

The Pétanque court is located at Emsworth Road Recreation Area (adjacent to St Thomas Church's churchyard). 
This facility is free for all to use during daylight hours. Regular users of the court are:

Lymington Petanque Club

The University of the Third Age (U3A)

Meets every Thursday 10am - 12pm


Rugby

Tennis

Lymington Tennis Club is a friendly club with 4 floodlit courts, a spacious clubhouse and over 100 members. There are opportunities for social play, a great coaching team (https://www.tennis21.co.uk) and a competitive programme for all. Pay and play is available between 9am and 4pm. For simple recreation rather than serious play, a free tennis court can be used at Woodside Park.
