Having a stall at the famous Lymington Charter Market is a great opportunity for a local business or small cottage industry. Bespoke items, gifts, unique hand-made crafts and new food products are always welcome.

On confirmation that your products have been accepted, you will also need to prepare and bring along the following on the day:
An in date copy of your Public Liability Insurance up to £5m (as a minimum) – please bring along a copy every week or have it accessible on your phone, clearing showing your name.
A copy of your Food Hygiene Rating from your Local Authority and Food Safety Level 2 Certificate (if relevant to the product you are selling). Any generator MUST be of a silent version
Have read & understood the Market Regulations (above)
Provide your own stall gazebo, weights, tables, lighting etc.
A debit/credit card (No AMEX) - as payment for your pitch will be taken on the day by card only - see costs below.
To be able to trade on Lymington market you will need to call the market supervisor on the Friday night (before the Saturday you would like to trade) between 6.00-8.00pm on 07585 607358 to confirm your attendance and ask any questions you may have.
PITCH COSTS – CASUAL
£2.60 per foot (30cm)* PLUS
Premiums to pay per 10ft (3m) pitch:
£10 for the period 01 May – 30 September
£5 for the period 01 October – 30 April
Casual stallholders pay on the day by contactless payment directly with the Market Supervisor. This cost includes free car parking in a nearby allocated carpark for stall holders.

PITCH COSTS – PERMANENT
To become a permanent trader, you are required to trade on the Market as a casual for at least 6 weeks.
All payments are required by monthly standing order.

No premium to pay.
Permanent stall holders pay for 44 weeks only.
8 weeks are free of charge and can be used for holiday, inclement weather etc, this includes the 1st Saturday after Christmas.

Example of 10ft Pitch Calculation
£2.60 x 10ft = £26.00 x 44 weeks ÷ 12 months = £95.33
£95.33 to be paid each month by standing order on the 1st of the month to Lymington & Pennington Town Council.
